The WMRF wins Best Costumes
The Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire has won the Best Costume category in the Gig Harbor Maritime Parade for the 2nd year in a row! Thanks to all the people who came out in costume to walk the Parade on June 4, 2011! We passed out a LOT of fliers and hope to see many people from Gig Harbor at the Faire in August at the Kelley Farm.

Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire Moves to Kelley Farm!
It is with absolute delight that we announce to you that we have finalized our lease, and will be moving less than five minutes away from last year's location to our new, beautiful home at The Kelley Farm! The new location is even easier to get to, and will have ALL camping and parking on the same site as the Faire, so say good-bye to carpools and shuttle buses, convenience has returned. :)
We will be situated on the opposite side of the property from their lovely wedding area, so there shall be no modern buildings, the land is mainly grass and almost entirely level, and there are even a few trees! We will be taking this season to reinvent our layout and make the Faire as pleasant, easy to navigate and fun to explore as possible. Our larger site will allow for a more spacious experience, and also allow us to integrate more artists and demonstrators into the show, so that we truly can bring you the best Renaissance Faire in the Northwest! We are very excited to move forward with this year's planning, and thank each and every one of you for being part of our Faire family...this will be a wonderful, unforgettable season for us all.
